As shown previously, Christian Friedrick Martin Bringe and his wife, Marie Hahn Bringe, arrived in the U. S. with his children Joh., Friedr. Ernst, Carl, Anna, Martin, and Albert, on the ship Moravia, on 14 November 1884 from Germany.

Friedrick had been previously married to Marie Samlow/Semlow in Germany, and they had two sons, John Frederick and Charles William. Friederick had married second Marie Hahn. They had children Frederich C., Anna Maria, Martin Friedrich Wilhelm, Ernest H., Karl Friederich, and Albert Henry.

According to his death certificate, he was born 1 November 1861 in Germany. His father was Frederick Bringe from Germany, and his mother was Marie Samlow from Germany. John is buried in Forest Cemetery in Lucas County, Ohio.
