Marie Hahn Bringe, wife of Frederick, is found residing in Allen Township, Ottawa County, Ohio, in the 1920 U. S. census. (1920 U.S. Census, Ottawa County, Ohio, population schedule, Allen, Enumeration District (ED) 193, sheet 3-A, page 1342 (penned), dwelling 62, family number 67, Mary Bringe; digital image, Ancestry.com (http://www.ancestry.com : accessed 2 February 2011), citing NARA microfilm publication T625, roll 1424.) “Mary” is the head of her household, and her son Albert is in the household. Mary owns her farm, is 77 years of age, and an Alien. Albert is 33 years of age. Albert is listed as a farmer.

According to her death certificate, Marie was born 22 November 1843 in Germany.

She was the widow of Fred Bringe. Marie died 9 April 1925 in Ottawa County, Ohio. Her father was Wm Hahn from Germany, and her mother was J. Tagt from Germany. She is buried in Woodville Cemetery in Sandusky County, Ohio.

One other note: As stated above, both Frederick and Marie Bringe are buried in Woodville Cemetery in Sandusky County, Ohio. Something that was done when the last of their children died was to have a stone erected that showed not only the birth and death dates of Frederick and Marie, but also these dates of each of their children.
