So, you have found out that your ancestor was a Boy Scout! Great news! What can now be discovered?

If you know where your ancestor lived while a Boy Scout, contact the local council to see if they know where old records are being kept. It may be that the council will not tell you if the record is not old – mainly for privacy purposes. However, you never know. You may find out quite a bit about your ancestor’s childhood!
